Ashdean
The society’s first major exhibition layout, depicting a British railways in the 1960s.
Chelwarton
Chelwarton is our version of a section of the former Great Central Railway London extension and the station at Charwelton.
Cudsfield
A fictional railway in the West Riding of Yorkshire, inspired by the collieries, industry and tangled railway network of God’s Own County.
Garsdale
Garsdale is based on the Settle and Carlisle Railway, depicting the station and surroundings in the mid 1960s era with an emphasis on realistic operation.
Great Western Circular
A static club layout depicting a Great Western Railway station on a continuous circular route. Built for operation within the clubrooms rather than exhibition use.
Ravenswold
A Great Western Railway layout depicting a fictional village in south-western Britain, set on a main line with connections to London during the early 1960s.
Past Club Layouts
Over the years, WBRM has built and exhibited a number of club layouts. Some have since been retired, sold or dismantled, but they remain part of the Society's modelling history.
Ashdean
Ashdean was in use from March 1992 until April 1995, after which the layout was broken up.
